Tich Smith went through a Facebook social media training programme in order to access the tools to share the vision for his latest project. LIV has a powerful vision and a unique take on how to solve the problem of widows and orphans in South Africa. Their vision is to provide holistic residential care for vulnerable children with the core vision to rescue a child – restore a life – raise a leader – release a star
Tich’s social media coaching was part of a complete internet marketing campaign that we implemented in February 2010.
I enjoyed working with Tich because of his desire to practice everything and make sure he understood everything he needed. This approach stood him in good stead as he was already communicating to his LIV Fanbase within a day of the training.
Here’s what Tich had to say:
“I had never used Facebook before but with Mike’s help I have been able to start networking on this unique platform. I have been able to find valuable contacts again that I had lost contact with. Further to that I am now able to update the Fans of LIV with news, quick updates and prayer requests whenever I need to. Being able to do this myself has freed me up to communicate to younger community who are passionate about the LIV project.”
