I love the internet. so many very intelligent people creating so many wonderful ideas. Just the other day and friend of mine drops a message into my Facebook Inbox and tells me about a project they have just launched.

Word on the Wire is a search engine that searches trending search engines and displays a dashboard of the latest results. It covers YouTube, Bing, Bing Images and Twitter for now and it works extremely fast.

If I was asked a few days ago, would you enjoy a service like this? I would most likely have said no. Now that I see it in action though it intrigues me. It shows me that sometimes its nice to get a non-google influenced result. After all Google has pretty much become our reference point for everything online these days. Makes me feel a bit liberated. Although I must say, I do miss the safety of Google.
